Serial Entrepreneur, philanthropist, business owner, speaker, creative, motivator, mother, MENTOR all describe me. My name is Melanie White and I am dedicated to help people take the leap into entrepreneurship. i see the value in owning your own business; whether it is something you do full time or part time. It truly is rewarding to see your visions come to life. i love the feeling I get when seeing someone win. i believe there is room for all of us to win!

I graduated from Hampton University in 2008, receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Science. My major and passion (or so I thought) was nursing, but boy did things change. Beginning my career as an entrepreneur in 2009, I started my accessory business, Melanie Marie. Not long after, I went into business with a partner and opened a boutique in 2011. That was a dud. After a failed business, a disappearing partner and being left with all of the debt from the boutique having to rebound back, I worked my BUTT off. I felt like i hit rock bottom - my entrepreneurial groundhog day as i called it. I felt like I was being pushed deep into a hole that I couldn't get out of. I felt as if I failed, when truly I was being taught valuable lessons that would stay with me and I could pass on to others. I made the decision to get back up and be great! I refused to live another moment in the "entrepreneurial groundhog day" and I began to map out my business model. Thats the day everything changed. Adopting an attitude of doing over the next few months brought me more revenue than i had ever seen. I continued to refine my processes and systems for the next 12 months. I manifested my dreams and was living life the way I dreamed. I was seeing my pieces worn by celebrities, being featured in magazines and blogs and my pieces were being sold in stores. Talk about manifesting destiny. In 2013, I launched my custom jewelry line under Melanie Marie, which was a huge success. Soon after, I decided to use my business and connects to start a mentor program for young girls, MM Gems & Jewels. A few years into my rebound, I became a mom to my beautiful daughter. Having her made me step my game up even more. I launched a custom children’s jewelry line and then a lifestyle blog. Along with my businesses and mentor program, i began consulting people that dreamed about being an entrepreneur but didn't know where to begin. Helping people has become my true passion.
